Hi, I'm Liz! Welcome to my blog, Fit Coach Liz.
I'm a wife and stay-at-home mom. I'm a former middle school teacher and an ACE-certified personal trainer and lifestyle & weight-management coach. My passion is helping you reach your goals so that you can lead your best life.
My journey to this point is long and has had many twists and turns. I will not go into every detail here because I'm sure different experiences will come out during different blog posts. I have struggled with living a healthy lifestyle at times, but I know firsthand that if I'm not fueling my body properly and exercising regularly that it will affect almost every part of my life. I know it's easy to slip into bad habits and that it takes a lot of willpower to break those habits. I will never tell you that being healthy is easy. It takes a lot of sacrifice, self-control, and persistence to consistently make good choices. Prior to the birth of my 2nd and 3rd daughters, I lost almost 60 pounds and was leading an active and healthy lifestyle. My 2nd daughter, Madelyn, passed away soon after she was born which led me to revert back to not fully living. I quickly get pregnant (about 3 months after she passed away) and gained my usual 40 pounds. I am now blessed with 2 beautiful, healthy daughters. I have my work cut out for me as far as weight loss goes, but I am up for the challenge!
